Cords are a pain. In a wireless world, where we can get all our information on a smart phone or tablet, why do we have to deal with wires at all? Truth is, you can still find a powerful, long-lasting, affordable vacuum that’s cordless. Below, I’ll present my favorite cordless vacuum cleaners.
1.Electrolux Ergorapido Bagless Cordless Handheld/Stick Vacuum Cleaner – Hands down the best cordless vacuum I’ve ever used. I liked it so much I bought it for my Mom for Christmas (and it’s been her favorite gift!). It functions as both an upright vacuum, and can easily detach to function as a handheld device. It’s really powerful too. I haven’t had much experience with Electolux products, but after this product I’m impressed.

2. Eureka Quick Up Cordless 2 in 1 - I’m a fan of Eureka products. This one didn’t let me down, either. It’s more affordable than the Electrox Ergorapido, (< $40), but it doesn’t pack quite the horsepower the Electrolux does. Also, I didn’t like it’s handheld feature (it also functions as an upright and handheld) as much as the Ergorapido. But, if you’re looking at a really affordable cordless vacuum, you can’t go wrong with this one.

3. Dirt Devil AccuCharge Cordless Hand Vac - I like Dirt Devil. There’s something comforting seeing that signature red, handheld vacuum. This one is powerful, too. I quite like it, but I can’t rate it higher because it’s slightly more expensive than the Eureka, and is only hand held – it doesn’t have an upright attachment.
